How do we handle your documents?
Prior to collection we provide secure containers and bins that will allow you to dispose of your paperwork in a way that minimises the risk of data breaches. Depending on your requirements we can provide shredding bags with security ties, large lockable document bins or locakable consoles.
Once collected from you we transport your documents in GPS-tracked vehicles to our document processing plant in Staffordshire where our industrial shredding machines are able to shred more than 3 tonnes of paper per hour. We use cross cutting technology to DIN Level 3 and this means that all documents are destroyed completely.
Once we've shredded papers they are then baled for recycling. 100% of the paper that we shred is recycled so you can rest assured that in choosing Chaffinch Shred that you're playing your bit in helping to reduce your companies carbon-footprint.
As well as ensuring everything we process is recycled, we are also proud to support various environmental charities including our local Wildlife Trust.
What happens to the recycled paper?
